Insurance Policy
Price Counseling Center does not file insurance directly. However, we want to make sure you can take advantage of any benefits you may have. We can provide you with a superbill — a detailed receipt that includes all necessary information for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
What is a superbill? A superbill is a detailed statement that includes the provider's credentials, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, dates of service, and fees paid. You submit this document to your insurance company to request reimbursement for out-of-network services.
Steps to Use Your Insurance Benefits
- Contact your insurance company before your first appointment to verify your out-of-network mental health benefits
- Ask these questions:
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible for out-of-network services?
- What percentage of the fee will be reimbursed?
- Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered per year?
- Attend your session and pay the full fee at the time of service
- Request a superbill from our office
- Submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement
